Public-school dance, if it even is a thing, would not begin until years after preschool. Tutu is a children's studio, not a competition factory. There are classes by age and skill. Melissa Reich began teaching in 2005 and has been training teachers in ECE for years, not just choreography. For Fair Oaks families, the answer is likely based on the traffic around Fair Oaks Village and if 16–20 minutes can fit into the week.

Recital work appears later in the session — Nutcracker in December, Summer Showcase in the warm months. A short warm-up, then skills, then a combo. Preschool is more game-and-song; older classes start to look more like a traditional technique class. Schedule note: Studio classes run Monday–Thursday 4–8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.–noon. Jazz is weekday evenings only. Billing: Tuition is auto-billed on the 1st. Classes are not pro-rated for missed days, holidays, or the two-week summer and winter breaks. Disenrollment requires 30 days written notice.
