Four-year-olds want independence. Class is structured so they can succeed without a parent on the floor.

Ask for Saturday if Wednesday is already a field. We will not pretend the calendar is empty.

After trial, we want leotard and slippers. That is part of the “this is class” cue at this age.
Recital without the scare tactics
Nutcracker and Showcase are on the studio calendar. A 4-year-old performs if they are ready, not because we sold a package.
Before you buy the shoes
We gently begin to help your sickle feet stand up. We do not call out to each other across the room, "He is doing it!" We lengthen the standing portion, more than 3s. Sitting-on-the-floor time diminishes. Class hours: Weekday evenings and Saturday mornings; some hours within preschool-hours blocks are possible, to fit nap schedules. Tuition is automatically charged on the 1st of the month. If a day is missed due to a holiday, etc., classes are not pro-rated. The same for the two-week summer vacation and two-week winter vacation. 30 days written notice is required to disenroll.
