If there is a public-school dance equivalent, it doesn’t start until years after preschool. Tutu is a children’s studio, not a competition factory. There’s placement by age and skill level; Melissa Reich has been teaching since 2005 and trains teachers in early childhood education, not just choreography. Lincoln families typically make that call on the basis of Twelve Bridges traffic and whether 16–20 minutes works for the week.

Schedule note: Studio classes are offered Monday–Thursday 4–8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.–noon. Jazz is weekday evenings only. Billing: Tuition is auto-billed on the 1st. Classes are not prorated for missed days, holidays, or the two-week summer and winter breaks. Disenrollment requires 30 days written notice.
