The drive south on 65 in the late afternoon has a comforting rhythm to it — parents coordinate pickup, then class, with no crossing of the American River or sitting on 50. Parent-destinations actually used: Twelve Bridges, the Lincoln Public Library, McBean Park. If you work in terms of local high school, reference point: Lincoln High School. Western Placer Unified School District is the public-school backdrop. Dance as a twice-weekly class for a preschooler is typically off-campus. The driving distance from the Harding Blvd studio is about 9.6 miles; drive time is usually 16–20 minutes in normal traffic. What Lincoln parents actually ask before they drive 16–20 minutes
One former studio barre-skipped and went straight to choreography. Pre-ballet is so a 2- or 3-year-old is not at a regulation barre for 45 minutes. The Lincoln families typically make this decision based on Twelve Bridges traffic and if 16–20 minutes works for the week.

Ages 2+ start with creative movement and basic positions — not a silent barre they cannot reach.

A normal week in ballet & barre classes
We will let you know if another style (tap, jazz) should wait a session so ballet can take hold. Younger classes use creative movement to sneak in positions. Older classes look quieter and more repetitious -- that is technique taking hold. Studio Schedules: Weekday evenings and Saturday mornings in the Harding Blvd studio. Billing Policies: Tuition is automatically billed on the 1st. Classes are not pro-rated for missed days, holidays, or the two week summer/winter breaks. Disenrollment requires 30 days written notice.
